Roth Named GM of Marquis Reforma, Mexico City

MEXICO CITY, Mexico, June 9, 2006. Rodolfo Roth has been named General Manager of Marquis Reforma, a five-star boutique hotel in Mexico City and member of The Leading Hotels of the World. The announcement was made by Jose Kalach, Managing Director of Marquis Hotels. Roth brings 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry to his new position at Marquis Reforma. As General Manager he is responsible for day-to-day operations.

Prior to the Marquis Reforma, Roth was General Manager of Gran Melia Mexico Reforma in Mexico City and served as Director of Operations and Marketing at Hoteles Calinda also in Mexico City. He spent six years with Hoteles Camino Real - starting as Director of Development and ending as General Manager of Camino Real Mexico. He has also worked in operations and food and beverage for other leading hotel companies including Radisson, Presidente and Fiesta Americana; in both city and resort properties. Roth is an alumnus of the prestigious Ecole H^oteli`ere de Lausanne in Switzerland, the world's first hotel school.

Roth is a member of the Skal Club of Mexico City, a branch of Skal International - the International Association of Travel and Tourism Professionals. He lives in Mexico City with his wife and their three children. He holds dual Swiss and Mexican citizenship.
