Second Crowne Plaza Planned for New Delhi
NOVEMBER 8, 2006. InterContinental Hotels Group has signed an agreement with the Eros Group to manage the new Crowne Plaza Mayur Vihar New Delhi, scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2009.
Situated at Mayur Vihar Community Centre on Noida Link Road, adjacent to the DLF Galleria Mall in Delhi, India's capital and second largest city, the Crowne Plaza Mayur Vihar New Delhi will be the first brand-defining Crowne Plaza Hotel in India.
The property will offer 220 contemporary guest rooms and approximately 150 apartments designed for long-stay residents. As part of a mixed-use 100,000 sq. ft., retail development, the hotel's central business location will ensure ease of access to one of India's fastest growing business hubs.
Over approx. 12,000 sq ft of dedicated and custom-equipped meeting space will serve the needs of even the most discerning of meeting organisers. Dining, leisure and recreational amenities include 4 specialty restaurants and a roof top bar, in addition to a spa and fitness center, barber shop and beauty parlor, business center and two swimming pools.
