BOULDER, CO, Ocotber 10, 2005. With a home in Mandeville and his workplace in New Orleans - two of the hardest hit areas in Louisiana by Hurricane Katrina - Clark Davis's life changed dramatically a few weeks ago. Like many other Louisianans, Davis has begun rebuilding his life in a new area, and for Davis and his family, Boulder, CO is now their new home.

A sales and marketing executive with over 22 years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry, Clark Davis has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for the Millennium Harvest House in Boulder, a flagship recreation-oriented property of Millennium Hotels and Resorts.

Prior to Hurricane Katrina, he was the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Renaissance Pere Marquette and Renaissance Arts Hotels in New Orleans and was active in local professional and arts organizations, including the Arts Council of New Orleans, Downtown Development District, Young Leadership Council, and the Gulf States chapter of Meeting Professionals International.

"We're thrilled to welcome Clark and his family to the great city of Boulder and the Millennium Harvest House," says Dan Pirrallo, General Manager of the Millennium Harvest House. "His solid experience in the hospitality industry and demonstrated ability to get results will contribute tremendously to the Millennium Harvest House's growth."

Clark Davis has extensive executive level hospitality experience in markets as diverse as Los Angeles, Harrisburg, Cincinnati, and Dearborn, Michigan. "I'm very excited to join the Millennium Harvest House," says Davis. "There are great opportunities here to make an impact with the team in making the Millennium Harvest House a year-round destination tennis resort and providing the Boulder community with additional sports and recreation facilities."

Previous positions include Director of Event Management for The Dearborn Inn, a Marriott Hotel, Director of Catering for The Westin Cincinnati Hotel, and Director of Food & Beverage for the Renaissance Los Angeles Airport Hotel. He has been a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) since 1995 and was past president of the Orange County Chapter of Meeting Professionals International.
