MCLEAN, VA, October 7, 2005. Who would you nominate as the most extraordinary sales and marketers of hospitality and travel today? Whose strategies are truly innovative and clever? Whose campaigns are standouts? Who gets results? Whose work do you wish was yours? What unique things have you seen this year?

The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) is polling senior executives in the hospitality and travel marketplace in a quest to select the "25 Most Extraordinary Minds in Hospitality Sales and Marketing."

"We are asking everyone to submit choices for consideration from all sectors of the hospitality, travel and tourism industry," said Robert A. Gilbert, CHME, CHA, president and CEO of HSMAI.

"There is an amazing amount of creativity, intelligence and passion in our profession, which all too often goes unrecognized," stated Gilbert, adding: "We see such clever campaigns and brilliant strategies all year long, and as the leading organization of sales and marketing professionals in hospitality, travel and tourism we wanted to shed some light on these individuals and create an annual 'hot list' of the '25 Most Extraordinary Sales and Marketing Minds in Hospitality and Travel.'"

Those chosen for the "Top 25" will be honored at the Adrian Awards Dinner in New York on Jan. 30, 2006. "As part of a widespread communications blitz, we'll spread the word about the Top 25, as well as feature them in a story in the HSMAI Marketing Review," Gilbert added.
