Dave Mudge New Executive Chef at Regal Sun Resort, Orlando

ORLANDO, FL, July 28, 2008. The newly renovated Regal Sun Resort recently hired Dave Mudge as resort's executive chef. In his new role, Mudge will oversee all of the resort's restaurants, pool bar, banquets, stewarding and kitchen.

"We are proud to add Dave to the Regal Sun Resort team and look forward to how his culinary creations will show off his experience and passion for food," said Jay Leonard, general manager of the Regal Sun.

With more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, Mudge spent 13 of those years within the Walt Disney Company. Most recently he was the Sous Chef at Walt Disney World's Rainforest Caf'e. He was also the executive chef at Miami's Fountainbleau Resort and sous chef at Walt Disney World's Grand Floridian Resort.

Mudge spent four years gaining valuable culinary experience at various Las Vegas restaurants and resorts, including Mandalay Bay Resort, ESPNZone and Excalibur Hotel and Casino. Mudge graduated at the top of Walt Disney World's Culinary Apprenticeship Program Class of 1996.
