Kite Properties Breaks Ground on SpringHill Suites by Marriott
JULY 24, 2008. Vero Beach developer Kite Properties, LLC recently broke ground on an 83-room SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Vero Beach, Florida. The hotel will be managed by Atlanta-based Hotel Equities.
Preliminary site work, including relocating 34 live oaks on the property, has been completed. The hotel construction will be supervised by Orlando-based general contractor, Pinkerton and Laws. The construction schedule calls for a July 2009 opening.
An all-suites hotel, the SpringHill Suites by Marriott provides guests with 25% larger rooms that feature free high-speed wireless Internet access and phones with data ports and voice mail. Amenities also include HDTV and daily complimentary breakfast.
Restaurant, bank, retail and office outparcel sites with boulevard frontage are available adjacent to the hotel.
