Embassy Suites Cleveland Encourages Guests to Rock
Embassy Suites Cleveland - Rockside is encouraging guests to get in on the fun at the Rock and Roll
JULY 21, 2008. The premier Cleveland attraction, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame draws hundreds of thousands of visitors every year with outrageous exhibits chronicling the history of rock music, and Cleveland hotel deals from Embassy Suites are making it that much easier to hit it big.
Through December 31, 2008, Embassy Suites Cleveland Hotel - Rockside is offering an exclusive Rock and Roll Hall of Fame package complete with luxurious overnight accommodations in a two-room suite and two adult tickets to the Rock Hall. Located on the edge of Lake Eerie in the North Coast Harbor, the Hall is only a short drive away from this hotel near downtown Cleveland.
The timing couldn't be better as the Rock Hall launches into a summer brimming with exciting events and exhibits. Throughout the season, the Cleveland Sessions Concert Series will come to the Rock Hall's main stage for free concerts every other Monday night at 7 P.M. A broad selection of buzz-worthy local acts featuring everything from jazz to indie rock will keep the stage hopping all summer long.
The Rock Hall is also proud to host the Summer Film Series in the 4th Floor Theatre. Also free with reservation, the Summer Film Series presents rare and even debut features celebrating historic moments in music history. Prominent showings this season include 'Festival!' on July 16, a fascinating study of the emergence of popular folk music, and 'Message of Love' on August 20, a concert feature documenting the momentous 1970 Isle of Wight Festival.
Popular exhibits for this summer include Help!, a behind the scenes look at the making The Beatles' second feature-length film. This can't-miss exhibit features the original film script written by George Harrison, shooting schedules, call sheets, and costumes and instruments used by the band in the movie.
As always, the feature attraction is the inductee exhibit located on the third floor. The 2008 Inductee Exhibit features the music and memorabilia of The Dave Clark Five, Leonard Cohen, Madonna, John Mellencamp, The Ventures, Kenny Gamble, Leon Huff, and Little Walter. The third floor is also where you can find the entire Hall of Inductees displaying the signatures of every Hall of Fame member.
For summer vacations that rock, stay at one of the leading Cleveland, Ohio hotels and visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
