Vintage Teams With InfoGenesis
To Provide Seamless Guest Experience at Three Historic Niagara Region Hotels
SANTA BARBARA, CA, October 24, 2006. InfoGenesis, the leading hospitality technology company in the United States, has just announced a partnership with Vintage Hotels. The decision to implement InfoGenesis POS (point-of-sale) technology was based on the unique value the technology offered. Vintage Hotels says they now have the right enterprise-level capabilities and system flexibility to serve guests better and improve profitability.
Vintage Hotels is a collection of three Canadian Automobile Association and American Automobile Association 4-Diamond hotels located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada. The successful operation currently offers a combined total of 374 guest rooms, more than 30,000 square feet of meeting space, three 4-Diamond restaurants and two spas. Vintage Hotels is also planning to add 120 rooms, as well as additional meeting space in the near future.
The historic properties, located within close geographic proximity, draw up to 70% of restaurant visitors from sister properties. This unique cross-property business presented demanding technology needs. They wanted to give guests the convenient ability to charge meals and other services to a single account, while at the same time improving internal point-of-sale technology control and giving management consolidated reporting.
"We are very excited about what we have been able to achieve for Vintage Hotels. The advances in reducing POS system management costs, improving guest service, and giving timely reports to management is impressive," said Mark Tapling, President and CEO of InfoGenesis. "These are the kind of results we are consistently able to achieve in the hotel market. We are proud to have been selected by Vintage Hotels."
"We went through lengthy meetings and demos with the two finalists," said Imran Masood, Manager of IT at Vintage Hotels. "After an exhaustive review of the options available to us, we chose InfoGenesis based on the features, price, flexibility and scalability it offered. With the future in mind, we believe InfoGenesis will help us improve profitability and serve our guests better, whether we have three hotels or 30."
