Wyndham ByRequest Members Now Earn Points and Personalized Stays

FEBRUARY 25, 2008. Members of the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts(R) guest recognition program, Wyndham ByRequest, now earn TripRewards points towards free stays and retail merchandise in addition to the complimentary benefits and personalized services they traditionally enjoyed.

Wyndham ByRequest benefits include a choice of welcome snack and beverage, preferred pillow type, high-speed Internet access, express check-in, guaranteed late check-out, local and long-distance calls, best available room upon arrival, photocopies, faxes and online receipts of their bill, all at no charge in addition to their hotel rate.

Members also enjoy personalized attention from a Wyndham ByRequest manager at every Wyndham location.

TripRewards(R) points can be redeemed for free hotel stays, resort vacations, airline tickets, name-brand merchandise and dining and shopping gift cards, among other options. In lieu of points, members may elect to earn airline or rail points.

Existing Wyndham ByRequest members qualify for all benefits right away. For their first three stays, new members qualify for complimentary high-speed Internet access and domestic long-distance calls, plus 10 TripRewards(R) points per U.S. dollar spent, or 500 airline miles. After their third night stay, members qualify for the Wyndham ByRequest level program benefits.

"Now members can earn points towards free night stays at Wyndham Hotels and Resorts in addition to the personalized hospitality of the ByRequest program," said Wendi Mazzucco, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts senior director of customer engagement. "Our tiered approach allows us to reward our most loyal customers for their business by offering increased benefits the more they stay at Wyndham hotels."

To welcome new members, Now through May 15, Wyndham ByRequest members may register to earn double TripRewards points or miles -- 20 points instead of 10 or 1,000 airline miles instead of 500 -- at participating Wyndham hotels and resorts.

The TripRewards program features more than 6,000 hotels worldwide, points-earning opportunities with multiple internal and external earning participants and more than 270 point-redemption options. It is the world's largest hotel loyalty program, based on the number of participating hotels.

The program's "open earn" structure allows members to accumulate points by staying in participating hotels and purchasing everyday products and services including car rentals from Avis Rent a Car and Budget Rent a Car (R).

TripRewards members can redeem their points for hotel stays - with no blackout dates - or rewards including airline tickets, resort vacations, electronics, sporting goods, movie and theme park tickets and gift certificates. An online system allows members to check their point balance and redeem for rewards from the convenience of their home, office or any other location with Internet access.
