Virgin Hotels New York City Names Denise Luna as General Manager
Virgin Hotels New York City, part of the luxury-lifestyle hotel brand by Sir Richard Branson, is pleased to announce the appointment of Denise Luna as General Manager. In her new role, Denise will oversee the operations of the 460-room hotel located in the heart of Manhattan's NoMad neighborhood. She will manage all departments, strategic planning, team development, and community engagement to further establish the hotel as a premier destination for both New Yorkers and out of town visitors, and continue ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction and quality of service.

Denise brings over 27 years of invaluable experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Virgin Hotels New York City, Denise served as a Task Force General Manager for the Real Hospitality Group. She began her professional career as a legal assistant at a law firm, but transitioned into the hospitality industry where she found her passion. Denise worked her way up in the industry, with roles ranging from food & beverage to engineering, housekeeping to operations, HR and more. Denise has worked with a variety of hotels and brands all around New York City including Marriott and IHG. With her vast experience, she understands the ins and outs of hotels.
Beyond her professional achievements, Denise takes pride in being a devoted mother of two and finds joy in spending time with her dogs. Denise is also an active volunteer firefighter in Long Island, showcasing her dedication to community service. She values the support and camaraderie found in firefighting, and firmly believes in the importance of giving back to the community, a principle that she holds dear in her multifaceted and impactful career in the hospitality industry.
