Garden of the Gods Appoints James Gibson as President and CEO
Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs' luxury resort and private club announces the appointment of James Gibson as President and CEO. In this new role, Gibson will oversee all facets of the property, as well as support future growth of the organization, including: the expansion of new cottage and casita room inventory; expanded amenities and services; the evolved branding of Strata Integrated Wellness Spa; and the grand opening of Vermilion, a community of custom, onsite residences.
Gibson is a luxury hotelier with more than thirty years of vast and varied experience in the resort and private club industry. In his role as President and CEO of Garden of the Gods, Gibson will oversee the expansion of new room inventory and amenities, the growth of Strata Integrated Wellness Center, private club membership amenities and satisfaction, as well as the grand opening of Vermilion this fall.
“After a thorough search process, we are very pleased that James Gibson has joined our organization as President and CEO,” said Judy Mackey and Brenda Smith, co-owners of Garden of the Gods. “His experience and success in managing the complexity of diverse and multi-faceted Five Star properties and exclusive private clubs, all while maintaining a strong focus on guest and member satisfaction, is in direct alignment with our vision for Garden of the Gods as a world-class wellness destination.
