Generator Announces Three New Appointments for the Brand's Inaugural U.S. Property in Miami Beach

Design-Driven Disruptor of Travel Taps Seasoned Professionals to Join Management Team for Generator Miami

Award-winning, experience and design-led group Generator today announced three new appointments for its inaugural U.S. property in Miami Beach, including General Manager, Director of Bar & Restaurant Concepts, and Executive Chef. Generator currently operates 13 award-winning properties throughout Europe in cities such as Berlin, Barcelona, Rome, and Stockholm, and officially announced its venture into the States earlier this year. Generator Miami will officially open doors on September 21 and is currently accepting reservations.

Glenn Valencia, General Manager, Generator Miami

A seasoned veteran with a strong track record, Glenn Valencia brings an understanding of the hospitality industry that is specialized to the luxury, boutique, and lifestyle sectors in Miami. With over 15 years of experience, Valencia has held various positions at some of the world's most recognized hotel brands, including The Standard Miami Beach, Soho Beach House, The Charlee Hotel, Palihouse Hotel, and most recently, The Freehand Miami, where he most previously served as General Manager. As Generator Miami's first General Manager, Valencia will oversee and lead operations and management at the property.

Gui Jaroschy, Director of Bar & Restaurant Concepts at Generator

Gui Jaroschy brings a multitude of experience in the beverage industry as a prolific mixologist and consultant, collaborating with renowned brands and organizations, such as Williams Sonoma, Patrón Tequila, British Airways, The Smithsonian Museum, Delano Hotel and The James Beard Foundation. Most recently, he served as the Director of Bars at The Freehand, which was named Best American Hotel Bar at the coveted Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards under his leadership. As Generator's Director of Bar & Restaurant Concepts, Jaroschy will oversee and implement all activities pertaining to conceptualizing the brand's bar and restaurants.

Daniel Roy, Executive Chef, Generator Miami

With an extensive background in the hospitality scene in Miami, Executive Chef Daniel Roy will execute all food and beverage operations of the bars and restaurants at the brand's first U.S. property. Staying true to his Florida roots, Roy garnered most of his experience working in the kitchens of top Miami culinary destinations, such as 3030 Ocean, 15 Steps, Stubborn Seed, Matador Room, and Commonwealth Miami, learning under renowned chefs such as Jeremy Ford and Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Most recently, he served as Sous Chef at Habitat under the five-time James Beard-nominated chef, Jose Mendín.
