Crescent Hotels & Resorts Appoints Harold Bassler as General Manager for DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld
Spanning 28 acres within the heart of International Drive, DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld proudly announces Harold Bassler as the new general manager. With an impressive history of driving profitability and service excellence for both branded and non-branded hotels, Bassler takes the helm as the 1,020-room property showcases its massive meeting space expansion and renovation. Adding to the existing footprint, the property's recent multi-million dollar transformation added 40,000 square feet of conference center and event space, bringing the property's total meeting space square footage to more than 100,000 square feet.

Since obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Organizational Theory from the University of Maryland University College, Bassler has spent more than 30 years in management positions, notable recognized as one of the youngest Innkeepers in the Holiday Inn system during the early days of the organization. Most recently, he served as the regional director of operations and area general manager for Crescent Hotels & Resorts. Through his tenure in the industry, Bassler has been recognized with numerous awards and appointments, including selection of Hilton Worldwide to join the elite group of general managers who comprise the Hilton Executive Roundtable.
