Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront Unveils Concepts for New Culinary Experiences and Lobby Redesign

USA, Jacksonville, Florida. July 09, 2018

Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront has unveiled exciting progress in the reimagination of its lobby with the introduction of new food and beverage concepts, which are due to open by the fall. The concepts include a 24-hour grab-and-go market, a new restaurant and an adjacent bar experience, all of which will complement the new vision for the hotel lobby. The extensive redesign also introduces new materials and fixtures to the lobby, such as unique accent paneling, onyx stone counter tops and Italian large-format tile, with a modern-meets-classic style - all within an open, airy space inspired by downtown Jacksonville's skyline and direct views of the St. Johns River.

The hotel's new 24-hour Market, slated to open in July 2018, will provide satisfying, seasonal fast-and-casaul menu options, offering guests and visitors a premium grab-and-go meal and beverage experience in the heart of downtown Jacksonville. The Market will serve hot and prepared foods as well as Starbucks® coffee.

Over the summer, renovations continue for the hotel's new restaurant experience, SHOR Seafood Grill, also expected to open in July 2018. The restaurant will accommodate up to 150 guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, featuring a robust menu of seafood speciaities from Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront Executive Chef James Draper, renowed for his creative cuisine concepts. SHOR will also feature a 5,000-square-foot bar, SHOR Tavern, which is due to open this fall.

"We are excited to share this announcement of what our newly reimagined spaces will soon become," said Luis Aloma, general manager, Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront. "The hotel's entire ground floor is being fully transformed to elevate the welcome and dining experience for our hotel guests and Jacksonville locals. We have created something special with this renovation, and we are excited to unveil these new spaces in the coming months."
