Brand Tango Wins National ADDY Award
Deerfield Beach, Fla. (June 14, 2017) - Last weekend, a 10-member creative team based in Deerfield Beach, Fla., capped off a very successful 2017 awards season by winning perhaps the most coveted prize of all: a national ADDY award from the American Advertising Federation. Brand Tango, a branding, design and digital incubation agency, was the only Ft. Lauderdale/Palm Beach-area agency to reach the national level in the advertising industry's most prestigious competition this year.
“Only a very select few of the 40,000-plus entries each year receive a national award, so to again be ranked among the nation's most creative and effective advertising talent is thrilling,” says James Kluetz, Brand Tango's president and chief creative officer. “Congratulations go to our entire team, who demonstrate attention to detail and high standards of excellence at all times. This team thrives on creating best-in-class products and services. Although I'm always proud to be part of Brand Tango, winning an award like this validates our success.”
This is the third national ADDY award for Brand Tango, putting it in a rarified tier of agencies. The road to a national ADDY award begins in local AAF (Ad Club) competitions, which attract more than 40,000 entries each year. Top award winners there then compete in one of 15 district competitions. District ADDY winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national stage of the American Advertising Awards. Competitors at the national level include industry behemoths, such as BBDO and Leo Burnett, with hundreds of employees.
The national Silver ADDY award, presented last weekend in New Orleans, recognized a sales kit produced for Grupo Questro's Ritz-Carlton Reserve Residences. Printed on watercolor paper, each element of the sales kit was carefully curated to evoke the heightened lifestyle these homeowners enjoy. The ultra-high-end project, located in the Pacific coast enclave of Puerto Los Cabos, Mexico, attracts residents from around the world, including Hollywood A-listers. Residents have exclusive access to a world-class marina accommodating yachts up to 400 feet, private beach clubs, Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman signature golf courses, a private sculpture garden and a 12-acre cactus botanical park.
