Playa Hotels & Resorts Appoints Hospitality Veteran Hugh Goodwin as Director of Tour Operator Sales
FT. LAUDERDALE, FL. March 24, 2016 — Playa Hotels & Resorts, the leading, owner, operator and developer of prime, oceanfront all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean announced Hugh Goodwin as the company's new Director of Tour Operator Sales. Goodwin will be responsible for establishing new relationships with tour operators and continuing to build upon Playa's strong existing relationships through the development and execution of promotional and marketing strategies.

Goodwin joins Playa Hotels & Resorts with more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked with established brands such as Club Med, Posadas, Certified Vacations, Amadeus U.S.A and World Access Service Corp. Most recently, he served as Director of Sales for Posadas U.S. managing the Whole Sales division for the Fiesta Americana brand resorts/hotels. Goodwin is also the former Eastern Region Director of Sales for Club Med, where he was responsible for implementing value added promotions, managing ten district sales managers and coordinating and facilitating the eastern region budget and marketing plans.
