Houston, Texas - January 22, 2014 - Benchmark Hospitality International®, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has been named to the prestigious "Inc. 5000 List of America's Fastest Growing Privately-held Companies." The list, presented by Inc. Magazine, represents a comprehensive look at one of the most important segments of the United States economy - independent entrepreneurs and the companies they've built. The Inc. 5000 list is an expansion of the popular Inc. 500 list.

Benchmark Hospitality International experienced significant growth over the past four years, bringing the total number of hotels, resorts and conference centers in the company's management portfolio to 40. Additionally, Benchmark launched two of the hospitality industry's newest hotel brands: Benchmark Resorts & Hotels and Personal Luxury Resorts & Hotels, grouping several hotels and resorts within the two brands.

The company has complemented this growth with a multi-million dollar investment in seasoned talent, technology, sales systems, business intelligence, and with the development and integration of new and highly engaging customer-centric online, mobile and social media platforms. In addition to launching two new brand portfolios, Benchmark also added 22 full-time professionals to the company's Home Office in The Woodlands, Texas, north of Houston, to support recent and expected growth. Inc. Magazine's Inc. 5000 includes companies ranked according to percentage revenue growth over a four-year period. To qualify, companies must have achieved revenue in the initial year of operation of at least $200,000, and in the most recent year achieve revenues of at least $2 million. Inc. Magazine approached Benchmark Hospitality International and invited the company to once again request consideration to be included on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list. Benchmark recently learned of the company's acceptance for the third year as part of the national "Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies List."
