South Beach Marriott Completes $10 million Renovation and Changes Name to Marriott Stanton South Beach
MIAMI, FL - December 30, 2013 - Coming off a six-month, $10 million renovation, South Beach Marriott is bringing to market not only a brand new look, but a new name - Marriott Stanton South Beach.
The name is derived from the original name of the adjoining two-story building, which currently houses a Starbucks, in addition to hotel rooms and meeting space, attached to the 234-room boutique-style hotel. With a much sought after address in the South of Fifth district on the famed Ocean Drive, the name reflects the exclusive feel of the beachfront property.
Marriott Stanton South Beach will be wrapping up its first phase of a full-property overhaul this month, which included a complete hard and soft goods revamp of all guest rooms, suites, lobby corridors and the Concierge Lounge.
The kick back to the Stanton name complements the upscale, vintage feel that emanates through the refreshed guest room, which features detailed decor such as stylized, color-processed Miami Beach photographs and surfboard-inspired sinuous custom built-ins.
General Manager, David Cronin, has played a crucial role in spearheading the enhancements at Marriott Stanton South Beach over the last year and sees this as the most exciting chapter in the hotel's history.
