The Chattanoogan Receives Prestigious Award for Renovation of Meeting Space

Houston, Texas - December 13, 2013 - The Chattanoogan, a Benchmark Hotel that is Chattanooga's only AAA Four Diamond-rated, full-service hotel, and the only IACC*-certified hotel in the state of Tennessee, has been honored with ConventionSouth magazine's 2014 "Top New or Renovated Meeting Site" award. The Chattanoogan joins an elite list of 50 meeting facilities located across the South to receive this award. The renovation also brought new upholstered seating throughout, an updated refreshment island and enhanced corridor lighting. Reflecting the changing times, traditional phone booths were converted into a contemporary cyber cafe with charging stations and seating.
