700-room ClubHotel Riu Jalisco in Mexico Reopens After a $15 Million Refurbishment

Palma de Majorca - November 26, 2013 - The ClubHotel Riu Jalisco has reopened its doors ready to leave its customers speechless after a deep renovation. Its new style and new services secure its position as the best option for family holidays thanks to its new family rooms, its extended lobby, new gastronomic options or a new splashpool for kids, among many other improvements. The hotel is located in Riviera Nayarit - Nuevo Vallarta, right on the seafront of Playa Flamingos, next to Riu Vallarta and very close to the lavish Riu Palace Pacifico.

RIU Hotels & Resorts has invested over 15 million dollar (approximately 11 million euro) in this complete refurbishment. The ClubHotel was inaugurated in 2002 to become the first RIU hotel on the Pacific Coast of Mexico and, since then, has been one of favourite hotels amongst families thanks to its 24-hour All Inclusive programme, its large gardens and swimming pool area, its spacious rooms and complete restaurant and bar offer.

After the refurbishment its 700 rooms present new decoration and furniture, 42" flat-screen televisions, electronic safe, together with a spirit dispenser and complete minibar characteristic to the All Inclusive programme by RIU. The hotel offers a wide range of rooms which are ideal for families with children or groups, such as the ample rooms offering the possibility of accommodating five persons, including the option of two adults and three children, or that of three bedrooms with two full bathrooms.

The ClubHotel Riu Jalisco offers four restaurants specializing in Mexican cuisine, Asian cuisine, a grill-steakhouse and the new "La Piazza" Italian restaurant. Furthermore, the main "Don Emiliano" restaurant presents a wide-ranging international cuisine buffet. Leisure is also guaranteed thanks to its six renewed bars and the Pacha nightclub.

The RiuLand club now presents a new splashpool for kids with a slide and games; while adults can enjoy two large swimming pools with inbuilt Jacuzzi in the luxuriant gardens. The entertainment program proposes daytime activities, both for adults and children, and the hotel theatre presents shows and live music every night.

After the refurbishment, the ClubHotel Riu Jalisco offers more parking spaces, together with new courtesy rooms to make the wait between check out and leaving the hotel more pleasant. The lobby will offer free WiFi and customers will have the option to get this service in their rooms by paying extra.
