Hotel Phillips Partners with Stash Hotel Rewards

Travelers Now Able to Earn and Redeem Points at Downtown Kansas City's Original Boutique Hotel

. August 13, 2013

Kansas City, MO - August 13, 2013 - Hotel Phillips, a boutique hotel in the heart of Downtown Kansas City, announced today it has partnered with Stash Hotel Rewards, the nation's largest point-based loyalty program for independent hotels. As a result of this partnership, Stash members are now able to earn and redeem points at Hotel Phillips, a hotel immersed in the rich culture of the Crossroads Arts District.

“As one of only two independent hotels in Kansas City, we're constantly looking for ways to make Hotel Phillips stand out from the crowd and be more competitive with the large chain hotels in our area,” said Blaine Proctor, Director of Sales and Marketing at Hotel Phillips. “By providing our guests with the added benefit of a rewards program, we're able to level the playing field with the branded hotels and reward our guests for choosing to stay at independent properties like Hotel Phillips.”

Built in 1929, the Hotel Phillips has always had a deeply-rooted connection with the artistic and architectural history of Kansas City. Today many of the Art Deco details from the original hotel remain, while modern touches have been incorporated throughout the 217 guest rooms of this nationally-registered historic boutique hotel. And to support Kansas City's thriving art community, Hotel Phillips began an annual Artist-in-Residency program in 2012 to give local artists the opportunity to showcase their work.

"Travelers get a great downtown location plus a true Kansas City experience at Hotel Phillips," said Jeff Low, Founder and CEO of Stash Hotel Rewards. "You walk into a real Art Deco lobby from the 1930's with live jazz playing in the bar. It's fun, friendly and full of historic character you won't find anywhere else in town."
