Palma de Mallorca - August 6, 2013 - RIU Hotels & Resorts has announced the renovation of the ClubHotel Riu Jalisco, work for which is planned to start on 24 August 2013. This resort, located in Nuevo Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit, was the hotel chain's first property on the Pacific Coast of Mexico and, since 2002, has been a favourite for families, attracting thousands of tourists from all over the world.

RIU will invest 12 million dollars into a complete renovation of its facilities with the new decor style which RIU is rolling out in all its new projects. The 700 rooms will be fully renovated with new furniture and new services including a flat-screen television and electronic safe. The family junior suites will include a bathroom with separate bath and shower, double sink and a second bedroom.

Following the renovation, RIU's 24-hour All Inclusive Service will offer a wide range of dining options including the "Don Emiliano" restaurant, with a buffet serving international cuisine and show cooking stations, whilst dinner guests can choose from the following restaurants: the Mexican "Doña Adelita", the Asian "Gran Dragon", the grill-steakhouse "La Botana" and the Italian "La Piazza". What's more, with its 5 renovated bars and the Pacha nightclub situated within the hotel itself, entertainment is guaranteed by day and by night.

Once open, the ClubHotel Riu Jalisco will include two pools with built-in jacuzzis, a sun terrace, a steam bath, a gym and a Renova Spa wellness centre, with a selection of treatments and massages. The range of watersports will be managed by Scuba Caribe, whilst entertainment for the little ones will be taken care of by the RiuLand club entertainment team.
