Honolulu, Hawaii - July 29, 2013 - Renovations are officially complete as Aqua Hotels and Resorts' unveils the new Aqua Skyline at Island Colony. Featuring 110 rooms within the 740-room building, the property underwent a $6 million renovation to emerge as a modern hotel experience with restyled guest rooms, a fashionable new lobby area with coffee bar, upgraded pool and outdoor areas, meeting space and a new fitness center.

Upon arrival, guests enter an island-style lobby area with flagstone tile, stonework, tropical plants, comfortable rattan furniture and a sleek front desk. Plantation shutters add flair to the lobby windows and allow tropical breezes to flow through the space. The lobby also includes Jagger's Cafe, a new coffee bar that is the perfect place to grab a quick bite or linger with friends while enjoying views of the Koolau Mountains.

The new guest rooms boast a modern design in a palate of green and silver. Features include wenge-colored cabinets and furniture, granite counter tops, flat screen LCD TVs, porcelain tile in bathrooms and kitchenettes, and chic new bedding and linens. Rooms offer spacious balconies with commanding views of the Pacific Ocean and majestic Koolau Mountains, while studios and suites include a kitchenette with microwave, stove-top, coffeemaker, toaster and mini-refrigerator.

The upgraded pool area features new flagstone tile decking, a rebuilt Jacuzzi and a newly retiled pool with orchid design. Stylish wooden trellises and potted plants allow privacy and add visual interest. Sleek outdoor furniture creates cozy seating and conversation areas, ideal for gathering with family and friends. For those looking to stay in shape on their vacation, a new fitness center offers state-of-the-art treadmills, ellipticals and weight machines.
