  • 2 souvenir 16 oz. pint glasses

This package is available Monday-Thursday, now through October starting at $275 per room, taxes included.

“The Berkshire Brew” package was developed in part to celebrate the release of the Lion's Ale, a beer released in partnership with Berkshire brewer Big Elm Brewery.

The Lion's Ale was created in the style of traditional English pub ale, with a rich amber color, a smooth flavor complimented by malt and toffee with a refreshingly dry finish. Over 3,000 gallons have been brewed so far, making this one of Big Elm Brewery most popular offerings. “This project was a way for us to return to the roots of craft brewing in Northeast,” says Dan Thomas, sommelier for The Red Lion Inn. “When the Inn was a stagecoach stop and tavern, ale was the drink of choice and it came from the local brewer. We not only were able to help craft something that paired well with Inn's cuisine, but also partner with a great local brewer.”

Lion's Ale is currently available on draught exclusively at The Red Lion Inn and the Lion's Den Pub, and in 22 ounce bottles at neighboring Elm Street Market. Big Elm Brewery is looking to offer Lion's Ale in cans in early 2014.
