June 20, 2013 - Courtyard by Marriott completing Miami's first expansion of this kind in more than five years, the Collins Avenue hotel is gearing up for opening of its new 93-room Oceanfront Tower this fall.

Since 1940 the Courtyard Miami Beach Oceanfront, 3925 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Fla. formerly known as the "Cadillac Hotel," has graced the shores of Miami Beach providing guests with a stylish boutique hotel experience that has all the perks of staying in a full resort. Now, the elegant and historic Courtyard Miami Beach Oceanfront is pleased to announce its new 93-guestroom oceanfront tower set to be completed in Fall 2013.

Courtyard Miami Beach "Cadillac Hotel" ExteriorThe Cadillac Hotel is distinguished for its iconic architecture and landmark presence as part of the Miami Beach skyline, defining its prominent location which anchors the Miami Beach area and serves as the attraction for business and leisure travelers alike. A vintage South Beach classic, the elegant 263-room hotel was originally constructed as the art deco Cadillac Hotel. After a complete restoration in 2004, the Cadillac Hotel reopened, making it one of the premier boutique hotels in Miami Beach. Following suit with a beautiful new look will also be a state of the art gym with added workout programming and a complete redesign of their main pool area with spacious cabanas and a deck that seamlessly fuses the outdoor space with the lounge through large operational glass panels; a breathtaking new pool is also being constructed as a part of the new Oceanfront tower sitting beachfront along the popular boardwalk.

Additionally, the Oceanfront Surfside Tiki Bar is introducing a completely fresh aesthetic, including a stunning new deck area, entrance and spice to its decor. To round out the exciting renovation highlights are the new guestrooms located in Oceanfront Tower which will feature a refreshing palette of selections in brilliant hues, creating a dynamic guest space, while elegant sheers frame the inviting view of the gorgeous beach below. Overall, the concept for the renovation was to employ the unique motifs of the original Art Deco style reflecting the vibrancy of Miami by incorporating elements of the local beach culture with infused bright hues and rich harmonious textures.
