May 16, 2013 This year the renowned New Life Hiking Spa America s longest-operating hiking spa located in the lush Green Mountains of Killington, Vermont celebrates the 35 Year Anniversary. New Life Hiking Spa is open seasonally mid-May through the end of September each year. New Life Hiking Spa was founded by Jimmy LeSage, M.S. in 1978. Mr. LeSage combined his talents as a yoga teacher, experienced chef and hiking enthusiast to start New Life Hiking Spa in Stratton, Vermont. He moved New Life to Killington in 1990 and the spa has grown to be one of the most recognized destination spas in North America.
Mr. LeSage continues to act as the director of the spa and manage the daily operations. In 2011, he was recognized as one of the top ten spa directors in the world and one of the top 25 pioneer spas by SpaFinder Wellness.
Often referred to as one of the most affordable destination spas in North America, regular prices range from $229-$259 per night. All-inclusive packages include a deluxe room, three healthy and freshly prepared meals per day, fruits and vegetables as snacks, one guided hike each day, all fitness and yoga classes, one massage for every three night stay, evening lectures and cooking demos.
Three levels of hiking are offered each day to accommodate each guest s fitness needs. A nature walk, an intermediate hike and an advanced hike are available and lead by professional hiking guides.
