Two Peru Hotels Receive First Travelers' Choice Award

Aranwa Sacred Valley and Aranwa Cusco Boutique Hotel Named Among the Very Best in Peru

New York - February 14, 2013 - This year's TripAdvisor® Travelers' Choice® Awards includes two hotels that are making a first appearance to the list of the top 25 in Peru - the independent, Peruvian-owned Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness and Aranwa Cusco Boutique.

Named to the top ten is Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness which opened in 2008. Located in a restored 17th Century colonial hacienda on the banks of the Vilcanota River in Urubamba, the resort offers a magical combination of mystical ancient Inca culture, colonial grandeur, and modern design and comfort. Next on the list, ranked at number eleven, is the two-year-old Aranwa Cusco Boutique Hotel, located in the heart of the Inca city of Cusco and housed in a restored colonial 16th Century mansion. This 43-room hotel offers a rare blend of state-of-the-art modern luxury and comfort served with traditional Peruvian warmth and style. Designated a National Historic Landmark, the baroque style building façade is one of the best preserved in the city, while original artwork from the Cusco school decorates the interior.
