Hilton Garden Inn Brand Names Joshua Messer GM of the Year (Pacific Northwest Region)

Edmonds, WA - February 13, 2013 - Joshua Messer, general manager of The Hotel Group's Hilton Garden Inn in Springfield, Ore., has been named Regional General Manager of the Year for the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada region in the 2012 Hilton Garden Inn brand awards. Recognizing leadership, hospitality, dedication and hard work, the brand awards identify the top-performing hotels and individuals in the Hilton Garden Inn family worldwide.

Selected from 39 other properties in the region, Messer is recognized for outstanding management and leadership. His accomplishments include service scores in the top 10 percent of all Hilton Garden Inns and an Associate Opinion Survey score of 94 percent, 15 percent above the industry average.

Under Messer's management, the property received two outstanding ratings on quality assurance inspections with an average score of 98.5 percent last year.
