Associated Luxury Hotels International Presents 'Chairman's Award' to Hotel del Coronado

February 7, 2013 - Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI), which serves the meetings and incentive marketplace with its Global Sales responsibilities for its membership of more than 140 Four- and Five-Diamond quality hotels and resorts worldwide, presented the Hotel del Coronado with its prestigious 'Chairman's Award' as the “ALHI Hotel of the Year” for 2013. The award is presented annually to the ALHI member hotel or resort that best displays exemplary leadership and commitment to performance in the preceding year, while epitomizing the ALHI Global Sales Organization (GSO) and property teamwork and cohesion in serving the meetings industry. The award was presented at ALHI's prestigious Industry Advisory Council conference, which was headquartered at Las Vegas' renowned Bellagio, with a gala dinner and award ceremony at the AAA Five Diamond ARIA Resort & Casino.

David Gabri, president and CEO of ALHI, and G.A. Taylor Fernley, president and CEO of Fernley & Fernley, Inc. and 2013 ALHI Industry Advisory Council Chairman, presented the award to: Todd Shallon, vice president and general manager of Hotel del Coronado; and Barry Brown, regional director of sales & marketing for Hotel del Coronado.
