RIVERSIDE, CA - December 21, 2012 - The historic Mission Inn Hotel & Spa announces Ryan Keithley as director of catering & convention services of the AAA Four Diamond hotel, which features 20,000 square feet of flexible indoor meeting space, an additional 5,000 square feet of beautiful outdoor courtyard space, and four award-winning restaurants - Duane's Prime Steaks and Seafood that is Inland Southern California's only AAA Four Diamond restaurant, Las Campanas Restaurant and Cantina, Bella Trattoria, and the Mission Inn Restaurant and Spanish Patio.

Keithley brings to The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa more than 12 years of experience managing catering and convention services including positions at multiple high-volume hotels that produced about $20 million in annual banquet revenue and with such leading hospitality brands as Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt Hotels Corp., and Sheraton Hotels and Resorts. In his new position, Keithley will oversee all operations related to corporate and social events at The Mission Inn, a National Historic Landmark hotel with 238 guest rooms that hosts nearly 400 weddings a year and is a premier destination for Southern California meetings, social events and celebrations.

Prior to joining The Mission Inn, Keithley served as a consultant and event sales program manager for Felici Events in Santa Barbara, Calif., where he increased sales and exposure for this full-service wedding and event production company while keeping clients happy by delivering superior customer service, introducing relevant new programs, services and events, and adjusting business strategy based on clients' needs and preferences.

Keithley earned a degree in hospitality business management from Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, Calif., and was named a certified designer in 1999 by the Interior Design Institute.
