HONG KONG / MACAU - August 3, 2012 - /PRNewswire-Asia/ - StarWorld Macau is thrilled to announce that it has received three awards during the "2012 Asia Hotel Golden-Olive Awards" presentation ceremony held on July 29 in Shenzhen. These awards include "Top Ten Influential Hotel of Asia", "The Best Excellent Service Quality Hotel of China", and "The Best Guest Experience Hotel of China".

Regarded as the benchmark setter, with the longest history in Asia Pacific, the "Asia Hotel Golden-Olive Awards" aims to extol the outstanding hotels performing in China and the rest of Asia. StarWorld Macau is the only hotel in Macau that won three of its awards. This brings the total number of hotel awards secured in 2012 to eight, proving the recognition to StarWorld Macau's brand concept and superb service quality.

"Asia Hotel Golden-Olive Awards" was co-organized by China Tourism and Hotel Management Association, China Travel Industry Association, Swiss Lausanne (HK) Hotel Management School, Chinese Hotel Brand Research Centre, and Commercial Times, while supported by the United Nations World Tourism Organization Asia Pacific and Macau Hoteliers and Innkeepers Association.

"Asia Hotel Golden-Olive Awards" were rigorously deliberated and chosen by the most influential and authoritative experts in the international level. The award is seen as the Oscar in Asia's hotel industry. With nearly a hundred of five-star hotels in the Asia Pacific as competitors, the standing out of StarWorld Macau is undoubtedly a credible recognition by the industry.
