West Street Hotel in Bar Harbor, Maine Opens
July 6, 2012 - Bar Harbor's newest luxury boutique hotel officially opened. This brand-new hotel is perfectly situated in the prime, waterfront, corner location of West and Main Streets in the picturesque seaside village of Bar Harbor. The much anticipated opening of the hotel to guests is celebrated by a pledge from the owners that the entire room revenue from the first operational night will be donated to the Bar Harbor Food Pantry, whose mission is to provide food and other household products free of charge to residents in need.
