FCS Expands Sales Force With a Senior Business Development Executive

Kenneth McGovern to help spearhead sales initiatives in North America

June 19, 2012 - FCS Computer Systems, a leading comprehensive hospitality solutions provider, announces the addition of seasoned sales executive, Kenneth McGovern , as National Sales Director. McGovern officially began his work with FCS on June 15th and is based in New Hampshire, just outside of Boston.

Operating as National Sales Director, McGovern will focus primarily on the sale of FCS solutions to individual hotels and hotel management companies in, but not limited to, the eastern United States. He is also responsible for the creation of new strategic partnerships with key vendors and distributers.

McGovern comes to FCS with nearly 20 years of sales experience. His expertise lies in account development and portfolio management as well as strategic business, market and sales planning. In his most recent position at Infor Hospitality, McGovern oversaw a multi-million dollar customer base while developing new business and managing a national sales team. He has also worked with hospitality technology companies such as Newmarket International and Daylight Software, who was later acquired by Newmarket. McGovern holds a Bachelors of Arts in Communications from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania. He is currently learning to speak conversational Spanish as a second language.

When McGovern is not travelling for work he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He and his family are outdoor enthusiasts, taking to any activity on the snow or water. McGovern also has a passion for golf.
