Warwick Seattle Hotel Completes Phase II of Renovations
Hotel's new look shines throughout the Emerald City
January 17, 2012 - Warwick Seattle Hotel, located in the heart of Belltown, continues to sparkle throughout the city with the completion of Phase II of a multi-million dollar renovation project.
An additional 75 rooms comprising floors 8-12 received a total transformation, as well as a comprehensive refurbishing of the corridors. Including Phase I completed in 2010, two thirds of the hotel, encompassing 149 rooms on ten floors, has been renovated at a cost of more than $2.2 million. Redesigned with a host of stylish and sophisticated touches, the new look allows Warwick Seattle Hotel to provide a welcoming atmosphere where guests enjoy personal attention, professional service and a range of fine amenities, now with a more modern feel.
“Because our guests are savvy travelers, it's important to provide them with updated and sleek rooms that fit their needs,” said Tim Bathke, General Manager at Warwick Seattle Hotel. “In addition to updating the rooms, we also combined the desk and wardrobe in order to maximize floor space. This gives the rooms a more open feel, and ultimately improves the experience of our guests.”
Warwick Seattle Hotel also enhanced the sleeping comfort of the redesigned rooms, removing all double beds. Each of the rooms now has new Serta pillow-top plush beds and can either be enjoyed with two queen beds in the room, or a king bed with a full-sized pull-out sofa bed. Carpet, paint, furniture and accessories - from light fixtures to artwork featuring Seattle landmarks - are all new as well. The bathrooms still feature Italian marble, but now offer new shower curtains, upgraded lighting and new semi-rain shower heads. Thirty-seven inch flat-screen LCD television sets and iPod docking stations can be enjoyed in each room.
Warwick International Hotels continues to invest substantially in renovating its hotels, and keeping with this tradition, a complete lobby renovation will be completed during the first quarter of 2012, and Phase III, scheduled for completion by the end of 2012, will finish all guest rooms and suites, Bathke stated.
The hotel's 226 guest rooms and four suites feature floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors with Juliet balconies, offering magnificent views of the Seattle Space Needle or city skyline. Guest rooms are furnished with a minibar or refrigerator, in-room safe, work space, telephones equipped with voice mail and data port, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, movies and games system, as well as designer bath amenities.
Warwick Seattle Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Belltown, which boasts some of the city's most popular restaurants and live music clubs, and is only a few blocks from Pike Place Market and Westlake Center. It's one of the few downtown Seattle hotels to offer an indoor heated swimming pool and whirlpool. Other amenities include a sauna, exercise facility with new, state-of-the-art fitness equipment and a 24-hour business centre. It is home to Margaux, which offers a refreshing menu that is distinctively Northwest in flavor yet French in style, and the Margaux Lounge, the perfect spot for cocktails and conversation.
