Aimbridge Hospitality Chosen to Manage the San Juan Water & Beach Club Hotel

Leading hotel management company will assume management of the popular Puerto Rican hotel

DALLAS, TEXAS - December 20, 2011 - Aimbridge Hospitality announced today that it has been tapped to manage the San Juan Water & Beach Club Hotel, located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The 78-room boutique hotel, which is located in San Juan's stylish Isla Verde, is five minutes from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, and just 15 minutes away from the cruise docks, business district and the famous Old San Juan.

The Art Deco-style boutique hotel is currently undergoing a $1.5 million renovation that will establish the Water & Beach Club as the hippest hotel of San Juan. With an anticipated completion in mid-December, the renovation consists of improvements to the guest rooms and updating the sound and technology systems for the hotel, restaurants and bar. Updates to the guest rooms include new bedding, flat screen TVs and art to ensure that the hotel continues providing the best amenities and experience for guests. Beyond the physical plant, the guest experience at the Water & Beach Club will be reinvented with an innovative service standard from the beach area to the rooftop.

The rooftop lounge and pool has incredible beach views and will evolve from a daytime sunning spot to a nighttime secret getaway. The chic rooftop bar and lounge Mist will open on December 20 and feature music from DJs around the world. Guests at Mist will enjoy flatbread pizzas, a Carpaccio bar and panoramic views of the beautiful Isla Verde Beach.

The property features a fitness center, a rooftop sundeck and pool, wireless Internet access throughout the hotel, a variety of meeting and conference facilities to suit the needs of business travelers and a 24-hour front desk service. In addition, the Water & Beach Club Hotel boasts some of San Juan's most beautiful beachfront and newest dining options.
