Red Carnation Hotels Adds The Duke of Richmond, Guernsey to Its Collection

OCTOBER 28, 2011 - Red Carnation Hotels is delighted to announce The Duke of Richmond Hotel in Guernsey has become part of its award-winning collection of luxury, family-run boutique hotels.

Perfectly located in St Peter Port, the three-star Duke of Richmond overlooks a quiet park and the marinas, with fantastic views of the harbour and neighbouring islands of Herm and Sark. It has 76 bedrooms, a large restaurant, stylish cocktail bar, an outside terrace with heated pool and function space.

The hotel is just a five minute walk from The Old Government House Hotel & Spa (OGH), an existing member of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection, which earlier this summer became Guernsey's first and only five-star property.

Under the direction of president and founder of Red Carnation Hotels, Mrs Beatrice Tollman, The Duke of Richmond will undergo an extensive upgrade programme, which will include the refurbishment of the bedrooms and public areas and the addition of another restaurant.
