Golden Tulip Re-opens Zoetermeer

JANUARY 31, 2007. Golden Tulip has announced the re-opening of the newly refurbished Golden Tulip & Tulip Inn Zoetermeer Centre. The hotel joined Golden Tulip as the Golden Tulip Zoetermeer Centre in December 2005 offering 60 standard and executive rooms and 30 business apartments for long term stay.

The hotel's former apartment complex has been renovated into a deluxe four star hotel flagging the Golden Tulip brand and the remaining 60 rooms have been re-branded to the moderate first class Tulip Inn brand.

The Golden Tulip & Tulip Inn Zoetermeer Centre is the third Golden Tulip & Tulip Inn hotel combination in The Netherlands after the Golden Tulip & Tulip Inn Amsterdam Art and Golden Tulip & Tulip Inn Leiden Centre.

Hans Kennedie, President & C.E.O. of Golden Tulip Hospitality Group, states: "We are pleased to add this third Twin Act hotel to Golden Tulip portfolio. The Golden Tulip and Tulip Inn Zoetermeer Centre are situated on an ideal business location between the largest business districts of Holland. The Golden Tulip & Tulip Inn Zoetermeer Centre are both business hotels located in the commercial center of Zoetermeer nearby a large and well-known shopping centre. Furthermore the hotel is ideally located in the heart of the Rotterdam/ The Hague/Amsterdam conurbation with direct connection to main motorway (A12) and the train station.
