LAS VEGAS, NV - May 10, 2011 - The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, located at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, showcases its 150,000 square feet of event space in a by merging the resort's urban design elements with modern technology and personalized service to ensure attendees feel engaged and connected throughout the duration of their stay.

Expert meeting curators are available to work with clients in advance to customize all aspects of each event based on the meeting's core purpose. Designed by The Friedmutter Group, The Cosmopolitan's meeting and convention space spans three floors of the 2,995-room resort offering a total of seven ballrooms ranging from 7,000 to 37,000 square feet. The resort's uniquely vertical design situated on just 8.7 acres allows for easy access to all meeting and convention space, including direct room-to-conference elevator access in the resort's West Tower.

Created with the maximum flexibility in mind, The Cosmopolitan's meeting and convention space may be configured to accommodate events of varying sizes from intimate gatherings of 10 to 4,000-person receptions. Space on the fourth level is complemented by direct access to the East Side Pool Deck, which offers dramatic views of the Las Vegas Strip, making it the perfect location for outdoor events.

These unique meeting spaces are named after European, Latin and North American neighborhoods such as “Yaletown,” “Castellana” and “Bella Vista,” highlighting The Cosmopolitan's boutique and socially dynamic atmosphere. The Friedmutter's design team took their lead from David Rockwell's contemporary room decor, incorporating crystal chandeliers and unique design elements, such as conversational gathering areas, in a relaxed social environment to balance the large scale of the space. Contemporary art is installed throughout the facility adding a visual dimension to the experience. Three scenic poolside areas provide meeting planners unique and distinct outdoor venues. Additional meeting options include suites that offer a minimum of 100 square feet of terrace space with sweeping views of the Las Vegas Strip.

The facility also offers state-of-the-art technology by PSAV Presentation Services, specializing in audiovisual creative, staging and interactive services. Their on-location experts provide themed event production, graphic support and design. Audiovisual services range from simple microphone set-up to elaborate multi-screen blended image technology and lighting productions. PSAV also offers a vast array of interactive services including full network management and IT resources to clients and facility partners with in-house talent.
