Haynie has over 32 years of experience in executive level leadership positions with luxury hotels, most recently serving as Vice President and Managing Director of the Tremont Suite Hotels. Haynie was appointed to the Maryland Tourism Development Board by Governor Martin O'Malley and has been a member of the Corporate Board of Directors of Visit Baltimore.
