Infinity Group's Mayur Chheda Named to AH&LA Board of Directors

Atco, NJ - February 7, 2011 - Mayur R. Chheda, CPA, CHA, CHO, Principal and Chief Development Officer of Infinity Hotel Group has been elected to represent New Jersey on the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) Board of Directors for a three-year term. The AH&LA board, comprised on 80 members, discuss and acts on industry and association issues.

AH&LA is the sole national association representing all sectors and stakeholders in the lodging industry, including individual hotel property members, hotel companies, student and faculty members, and industry suppliers. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., AH&LA provides members with national advocacy on Capitol Hill, public relations and image management, education, research and information, and other value-added services to provide bottom line savings and ensure a positive business climate for the lodging industry.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Southern New Jersey, Mayur graduated from New York University (NYU) - Stern School of Business in 2000. Joining Infinity Hotel Group in 2001, his former work experience includes Merrill Lynch, Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC), and Ernst and Young (E&Y) Real Estate Group.

Mayur provides overall strategic guidance for the Infinity's investments, as well as the organization's management and development division. He is responsible for new development, construction, and conversions. Mayur's professional accreditations include: CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CHA (Certified Hotel Administrator), and CHO (Certified Hotel Owner). Mayur also currently serves as a regional Ambassador for AAHOA - Asian American Hotel Owners Association.
