Warwick Melrose Appoints New Social Catering Manager
DALLAS, TX - July 15, 2010 - The Warwick Melrose Hotel, one of Dallas' preeminent luxury hotels, announces Bethany Bustin as the hotel's new Social Catering Manager. Bustin will be responsible for developing and managing a wide range of celebratory events, including weddings and receptions. She reports to Cinthia Skidmore, the hotel's Director of Catering, who also oversees corporate events and business meetings.
The Warwick Melrose Hotel, a Dallas Historic Landmark, has enjoyed a significant increase in the past two years in the number of weddings scheduled at the hotel. “We also have many guests who were married here and return to hold their 10th, 25th and even their 50th anniversary parties,” said Joe Massar, Director of Sales and Marketing. “The hotel has a long tradition in this region as an ideal site for elegant yet intimate events, and we think Bethany brings a proven track record that will help us deliver an even more outstanding experience to our guests.”
Most recently, Bustin spent more than two years with the downtown Forth Worth Sheraton Hotel and Spa, where she served as Social Catering Manager and assisted in the grand openings for the hotel and its restaurant, Shula's 347 Grill. She also helped produce weddings and other special events with Jill Fortney Productions, based in Fort Worth, Texas. Bustin is a graduate of Texas State University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts, and she attended Kilgore College, where she performed as a part of the renowned Kilgore Rangerettes.
