Rockresorts Welcomes New GM at La Posada De Santa Fe
July 14, 2010 - RockResorts, a subsidiary of Vail Resorts, announces the appointment of Ben Tutt as new general manager of La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa, A RockResort. In his new role Ben will be influential in developing and implementing property-wide strategies and initiatives. He will provide leadership and direction to the property, as well as uphold La Posada's commitment to providing experiences of a lifetime.
Most recently, Ben served as the managing director of The Reefs in Southampton, Bermuda. For more than three years at the property, Ben was responsible for all marketing, budgeting, strategic and tactical visions at the resort. He played an integral role in the property's multi-million dollar mixed-use expansion and development project.
Prior to The Reefs, Ben gained managerial experience at three notable Wyndham Hotels & Resort properties: Martineau Bay Resort and Spa, in Vieques Puerto Rico, El Conquistador Resort and Golden Door Spa in Fajardo, Puerto Rico and Carmel Valley Ranch, a Wyndham Luxury Resort in Carmel, California. Ben began his career at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and brings with him more than 25 years of hospitality operations experience.
