NAI Global Arranges Sale of Drury Inn, Schaumburg IL
JANUARY 17, 2007. NAI Global Hotels represented Drury Inns Inc. in the sale of the Drury Inn in Schaumburg, Illinois. The hotel will be re-flagged immediately. The deal was arranged by NAI Global Hotels Managing Director Daniel Beider and Regional Vice President Sanjeev Misra.
Located just off of I-290 and Higgins Road, the Drury Inn is located in the center of Schaumburg's corporate district, 10 miles from O'Hare International Airport and 25 miles from the heart of downtown Chicago and Midway Airport. The four-story, 124-room hotel features an indoor pool and whirlpool, free wireless internet access and 1,410 square feet of meeting space.
"This property, built in the mid '80s, was our only Chicago-area asset," noted Joe Pereles, Vice President of Development at Drury Inns. "We are looking to increase our presence in Chicago with our new prototype and on sites that meet our current site selection criteria. Consequently, we decided it was an appropriate time to dispose of this hotel. NAI Global Hotels quickly achieved our goals in the assignment"
