NEW YORK - June 1, 2010 - The GEM Hotel SoHo, operated by Gemini Real Estate Advisors, LLC, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jaidev Gupte as general manager. Gupte will oversee daily operations of the 45-room boutique hotel, including guest services and a team of 15 associates. A 10-year veteran in the hotel industry, Gupte brings extensive knowledge of the New York City market.

Prior to joining GEM, Gupte served as front office manager at the Holiday Inn Wall Street (formerly the Hotel Reserve) in New York City, where he was responsible for implementing brand standards, managing the reservations system, account relationships, and staff development. He previously held positions at the Duane Street Hotel, Radisson Lexington Hotel, and Four Seasons Hotel, all in New York City. Gupte is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and holds a bachelor's degree in hotel administration.
