. October 14, 2008

ST. LOUIS, MO, July 20, 2005. Jeffery VanCamp has been named the new director of food and beverage at The Westin St. Louis.

In his new position, VanCamp manages the day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets at The Westin St. Louis, including the Clark Street Grill, banquets, room service and refreshment centers. He sits on the hotel's executive committee along with general manager Michael Jorgensen, director of sales and marketing Gary Tarpinian and other key management personnel.

"Jeffery is simply a great fit for The Westin St. Louis," said Jorgensen. "He is 100 percent dedicated to customer service, and his passions for food, wine and fine art complement the style and sophistication of the property."

VanCamp brings to the Westin more than 16 years of experience in banquet and service management. He previously worked as the food and beverage director and banquet manager for several upscale properties across the country, including the Ritz-Carlton Chicago and Clift Hotel San Francisco, two of the Four Seasons' highest rated properties in the world.

"I want our guests to know that they are my primary concern," said VanCamp. "Once when managing a private club in Chicago, I took a cab 20 miles from the hotel just to tie a bow tie for one of our members. I am excited to take the position with The Westin St. Louis because I see that same commitment to putting guests' needs first."
