Crestline Appoints John H. Parker as GM in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD, August 8, 2006. Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. announced the appointment of John Parker to General Manager for the Courtyard by Marriott Baltimore Inner Harbor.
This unique hotel has 205 guestrooms including 10 suites and 2,252 square feet of meeting space. The 10 story hotel is nestled in an urban setting only one block from the picturesque waterfront. It is an easy stroll to Baltimore's most popular neighborhoods, and provides the perfect blend for business and pleasure with easy access to shopping and dining as well as the Baltimore Washington International Airport.
Mr. Parker joins Crestline Hotels & Resorts from Shamin Hotels in Richmond, VA where he oversaw operations for nine hotels in the company's portfolio throughout Virginia and Maryland. Prior to Shamin, he was with John Q. Hammons Hotels as the general manager of the Mesquite Convention Center and Hampton Inn & Suites in Mesquite, TX. With more than 20 years of hospitality industry operations experience, Mr. Parker has also held management positions at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Chester, VA, the Renaissance Richardson in Richardson, TX, the Embassy Suites, Charleston, SC, and the Stouffers Hotel and Resort at Lake Lanier, GA.

Mr. Parker is a graduate of the University of North Carolina in Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science degree in Leisure Studies.
