"The dedication of the new Edith Macy Conference Center in early 1980s represented a fresh, modern commitment to training and education by Girl Scouts of the USA," stated David Vogt, general manager of Edith Macy. "Since the 1920's, the 400-plus-acre property has been used by GSUSA to support their mission by training council members and executives from around the nation. Corporations and associations now enjoy the superb secluded setting, which was so visionary 25 years ago and works so well for meetings of many different types."
