Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong Announces New Members of Executive Committee
HONG KONG, August 1, 2006. Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is delighted to announce the appointment of Roy Lam as Director of Human Resources and Rasmus Seah as Director of Quality.
Roy Lam joins Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong from the Group's corporate team where until recently he held the position of Director of Learning and Development, Asia. Prior to joining Mandarin Oriental, Roy held a variety of human resource management roles in multinational companies to include JP Morgan Chase Bank and KPMG.
Roy is passionate about employee training and development and his experience in supporting the launch of sister hotels in Washington D.C, Tokyo and Chiang Mai will be invaluable to the reopening team over the coming months.
Rasmus Seah has more than twenty years of experience in international hotel chains including Westin Hotels, Raffles Hotel and Ritz-Carlton Millenia in Singapore. Prior to joining Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, he was Director of Corporate Rooms - Quality for Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts.
Director of Quality is a new addition to the hotel's Executive Committee, which will ensure that the legendary service for which Mandarin Oriental is renowned is maintained throughout the reopening and into the future. Rasmus will implement and execute all aspects of the Quality Improvement Framework.
Both Roy and Rasmus will report to Peter French, General Manager.
