TORONTO, Ontario, August 1, 2005. Hilton Toronto unveils a $1.5 million top-floor makeover, with a newly-renovated executive lounge and four new luxury suites. The renovation honors Canada^1s unique history while setting a new standard for contemporary style.
"These renovations represent our commitment to celebrating the best Canada has to offer," says Armin Schroecker, general manager, Hilton Toronto and regional director-Canada. "Guests can expect not only an elevated level of hospitality standards, but also indelible one-of-a-kind experiences."
Two of the four signature suites face the new Four Seasons Center For the Performing Arts and have been outfitted by the Hudson^1s Bay Company (Hbc), Canada^1s most celebrated retailer:
Hbc Heritage Suite: At 1,725 sq. feet, the hotel^1s largest suite features two bedrooms, a living room and boardroom. A distinctive blend of ultra-modern and ultra-rustic, suite accents pay tribute to Canada^1s fur trade and include: deerskin-covered tables, wall-size silkscreen art, and a block of maple divided into four parts to be used as convertible furniture.
Hbc Margery Steele Suite: Honoring Canada^1s equivalent to Coco Chanel, this suite epitomizes Art Deco style, with a black, white, and gold color scheme.
