Garin had served as director of Development for Lexington Services and Vantis International since 1997. Prior to that, he was director of rooms and reservations for the Continental Companies. In addition, he has held management positions in all areas of the hospitality industry over the last 30 years.
Radisson Hotels and Resorts International Latin America will rely on him to expand its portfolio throughout the territory, growing both through acquiring management contracts as well as franchising. The Radisson flag flies over some of the finest properties in Central and South America and boasts of one of the best distributions of any brand in the region.
"While the Latin Markets have been somewhat volatile over the years, the current business environment in the hospitality industry in the area is in a cycle where it is embracing the value that a first class operator or franchisor brings to the table. Radisson, with over 40 years' experience can help the developer in every aspect of the project, from planning to operations to marketing," said Denise Estefan Litten, Vice President of RHILA, "We are thrilled to have Edgar on board to get our message out and to expand our footprint in Latin America."
